The Stray Rocket!

My current project is something different, a Pokemon fanfic starring an original character of uncommon background. While the earliest chapters were conceived in 2016, it has resumed after a hiatus. What happens when a failed trading card game player decides to train *actual* Pokemon?

Citrata, or Cici to her friends, has a long road ahead of her. She'll have to contend with Team Rocket, who continues to trail Ash, and the new threat of Team Flare is just beginning to emerge from the shadows...

New Forums Closed

Hey, I'm still around. Just reporting my expermental "Lum" forum never took off, consider it done.

In belated Lum news, Urusei Yatsura returned to TV! Sorry I haven't gotten around to commenting about the 2022 anime redux.

Urusei Yatsura manga rescued!

All has been quite quiet here. Until now. I bring the fantastic news that Viz has revived Urusei Yatsura for a new edition in 2019. Tell your friends to love Lum too!

Testing New Forums

With recent migration of Yuku's system to Tapatalk, I'm trying out their revamped forum creation tool. The new board is tentatively named simply Lum, and its rudimentary design is subject to change. Check it out at https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/lum.

Eon Forums closed

I'm making the obvious yet long overdue announcement that Eon Forums has fallen into disuse, and will no longer be significantly maintained. Thanks for the good memories!

Eon Wiki closed

Wikispaces has announced discontinuing their free service for non-education wikis.
Therefore Eon Wiki is being placed on hiatus. Keep checking this blog for details on whether or how it may return.

In the meantime, I have provided its unedited content for download. Including files and images.
Thanks for supporting Eon Wiki!

Testing

Just checking out the new interface of this site. ^_^

As they say no news is good news.

Checking In

No particular news this time. I'm sort of toying with the idea of a new fanfic. Don't want to spoil it. I can say with confidence however, that Mario characters are most definitely NOT involved. A large change from prior efforts in and of itself.

Now for the next "Site of the Moment". It's long been on this blog's sidebar, but as a forum user there since 2002 I'd like to give it further attention...

Twitter

I didn't get around to mentioning it here until now. But I've got a Twitter page. Keep an eye on it for my random one-liners. Or more...? Wait and see.

This isn't a news update, so I can be more informal. =)

Happy Holidays

A shout to my readers out there. I hope you enjoy the season of giving. Don't get lost in shopping lines! ^_^

For a new occasional special feature, I present "Site of the Moment". Highlighting random websites that are interesting, creative, or otherwise funny. To keep an element of surprise, I'll use just a banner when available. Now the first entry...

See you next time!

GeoCities closing: October 26th

After all these years, Yahoo has decided to close down GeoCities. You can read more details about that here.

So my long-standing old site, along with numerous other people's, will no longer reside there. I believe I'd created mine back in 2001. How times change fast on the web!

Luckily however, the Internet Archive is aiming to preserve as much as they can. I'll link to the backup should they accept it.

More Filefront news.

Now this is interesting. Only a few days after Filefront says they're closing, it would seem the original founders bought it back from Ziff Davis Media.

I'll post any further updates on the situation as they become available.

Filefront closing.

Yes, I'm still here. No news is good news. =)

Except this time I have a little news. I've removed the sidebar link to The Claw Files, because Filefront will apparently be closing on March 30. Click here for more information.

April 1st

Needless to say, this isn't a blog devoid of humor. ^_^

So... I present the bane of forum-goers everywhere. A pointless link!

Go on. Why are you still reading the April 1st post?

Website news

Well, it appears that ZendURL is shutting down. I've backed up all the data. Nothing of mine at the Eon Hacks site is lost, no worries. Ask if you want to see it. I'll work on finding a new good host. =)

All other content is unaffected! This blog, the forum and wiki, and so on.

Update: Files uploaded to FileFront.

Subdomain

Turns out the subdomain for the site isn't working right now. Please use http://zendurl.com/tc on any links involving it instead.

Yeah, I know the projects have slowed down quite a bit. I'm currently looking into free hosting options. To have this blog, etc on one server would make it a lot easier to manage. In case I'm too busy for another post soon... Happy (insert holiday here)!

Also, remember. It's "theclaw135" on Xbox Live if you're up for a match in say... Call of Duty 4.

Site news

Using a domain name turned out to be too much hassle. I had to manually setup every page. Not fun, considering the overambious plans of mine. My current main site (http://tc.zendurl.com/ or http://zendurl.com/tc) remains open and official. I'll post updates right here should anything happen. ^_^

eongaming.com

I have good news. I've purchased the domain name eongaming.com. It's experimental, but there's new forums and other stuff. My intention is to eventually archive the content I'd put online over the years there to make it easily accessible in one place.

"irc." and "forums." are the current major subdomains. Speeds up getting to them by a click. Also try adding "/documents" or various directory names. A few surprise items lurk around.

And for something completely different, I'm posting the Albatross18 season 3 trailer.
